Aguas Santafesinas has launched a tender for a large-scale project that seeks to improve the sewage system of the city of Santa Fe. This initiative, with an investment of more than 22 billion pesos, will focus on the structural rehabilitation of the general collector, a key conduit for the operation of the citys sanitation system. Details of the work: Innovative technology: A non-destructive technique called “Cured Sleeve” will be used, which consists of lining the inside of the collector with a reinforced fiberglass sleeve, without the need for large excavations. Benefits: This technology will reduce the environmental impact, minimize disruption to neighbors and allow for faster execution of the work. Scope: The work will cover the entire length of the main collector, from the Central Elevating Station to the López y Planes manhole. Benefits for the city: The rehabilitation of the collector will ensure optimal functioning of the sewage system, avoiding problems such as flooding and bad odors. In addition, it will contribute to improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of Santa Fe. Next steps: Opening of bids: On January 20, the opening of bids submitted by companies interested in carrying out the work will take place. Execution: The work is expected to be carried out in sections, prioritizing the sectors that need it most. In short, this project represents an important step towards improving the infrastructure of the city of Santa Fe and guaranteeing an efficient and sustainable sanitation service in the long term.
