Summary of tenders for works in La Bebida and Av. Ignacio de la Roza
The Government of San Juan is making progress on important infrastructure projects.
The Ministry of Infrastructure, Water and Energy of San Juan has taken a significant step in improving the quality of life of citizens by advancing the tenders for two key projects: the construction of a Community Integration Center (CIC) in the Sierras de Marquesado neighborhood, in La Bebida, and the renovation of the public lighting system on a section of Ignacio de la Roza Avenue.
Construction of the CIC in La Bebida:
Objective: To create a community space that provides social, educational and administrative services to the neighborhoods residents.
Features: The building will have areas for various activities, such as training, meetings and customer service.
Construction: Quality materials will be used and earthquake-resistant construction techniques will be applied to ensure the durability of the work.
Tendering process: Eight proposals were received from different construction companies.
Renovation of the street lighting on Av. Ignacio de la Roza:
Objective: To improve lighting and road safety on a section of this important avenue.
Features: New, more efficient and long-lasting LED lights will be installed, providing better lighting of the road.
Scope: The work will cover a 5.5 km section of the avenue.
Tendering process: Four proposals were received from companies specialising in lighting.
Next steps:
With the opening of envelopes, the evaluation stage of the proposals presented by the participating companies begins. It is expected that in the coming months the works will be awarded and their execution will begin, which will allow for new and better infrastructures for the benefit of the people of San Juan.
