Work Detail | The Surface tablets are all so ambitious that they may have already become a point of comparison for all 2 in 1 devices. The only trouble with the Surface tablets is that their specs also reflect their prices. Every time a Surface device gets launched, it always carries a price tag that is twice or thrice as expensive as its competitions. Fortunately right now, Lenovo released a device that is allegedly Surface inspired. The Lenovo Miix 510 is not exactly a copycat, but it is still a good Surface replacement. It's not exactly cheap either, but this device alongside its accessories may be at the same price level as the latest Surface devices without accessories. Lenovo Miix 510 Features The Lenovo Miix 510 is slim, lightweight, but pretty much solid all in all. It has watchband type hinges that support its stand to make the device recline at different angles. The Miix 510 has a 12.2 inch IPS display and it has no problems satisfying any vewing angle as well, TechRadar reports. Furthermore, the Lenovo Miix 510 runs Intel's Kaby Lake and it comes with LTE connectivity. On top of that, its SSD storage is a massive 1 TB, making it an impressive on-the-go device for business professionals. Just like the Surface devices, the Lenovo Miix 510 has a certain charm for business people. The device has a classy and corporate looking backlit keyboard cover and it's got a premium feel to it too. However, the keyboard itself may not share the same quality as that of the Surface Pro 4's. Lenovo Miix 510's keyboard is sized well but may not have the same travel as that of the Surface Pro 4's Lenovo Miix 510 also comes with a digital pen, and including the keyboard and pen, the device can be bought at around $920. According to sources, Lenovo Miix 510 will be released globally on October. |
