Ramky Infrastructure Limited has been awarded a ?215 crore contract by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) to develop 20 Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) with a combined capacity of 714.3 MLD.
The company, a leader in integrated sustainable infrastructure development, expressed its pride in securing this crucial contract, which aligns with its commitment to transforming urban infrastructure. Yancharla Rathnakara Nagaraja, Managing Director of Ramky Infrastructure, stated, “We are honored to have been entrusted with this critical contract by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board. This project aligns with our vision of creating sustainable urban infrastructure that meets the growing demands of India’s cities.”
The STPs will incorporate advanced technologies such as Sequential Batch Reactors (SBR), which ensure high efficiency with minimal labor through automated systems like PLC and SCADA. The contract also includes five years of personnel, operation, and maintenance (O&M) services, as well as the management of related Intercept and Diversion (I&D) systems.
