Eduardo López Segura visited the reconditioning works carried out by the National Directorate of Roads (DNV) near Colastiné, province of Santa Fe. These controls are key to the preservation of the routes.
The inspection was carried out on Tuesday at the weight and size control posts located at kilometer 10.4 of highway 168, carried out by the company American Traffic SA with an investment of more than five million dollars.
These improvements include the installation of automatic dynamic scales for weighing in motion and evasion and escape control systems that will operate 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
López Segura highlighted that, after 20 years, the government of Entre Ríos will implement a Road Recovery and Maintenance Plan. This project, initiated under the administration of Governor Rogelio Frigerio, contemplates the preservation of repaired roads and addresses the problem of overweight trucks.
The subfluvial tunnel, a key part of the bioceanic corridor and the main access to the province, has supported more than 30 million large vehicles and transported around 700 million tons of cargo in its 55 years of service.
López Segura also highlighted the cutting-edge technology and the construction quality of the new weight and dimension control devices. These include scale bases with high-resistance concrete thicknesses and innovative systems that ensure a positive impact on the road infrastructure of the region and the tunnel.
Finally, he mentioned the recent inauguration of the repaving of the access ramp to Paraná and the future priority work of repaving the interior route of the viaduct, ensuring that these controls will be essential for the durability of the works. |
