Martin Rune Pedersen, Country Chair of TotalEnergies Denmark said: " Both the Kalundborg and Sønderborg areas are undergoing rapid industrial development, and we expect the demand for green power to increase significantly in the years ahead." European Energy chief Knud Erik Andersen added: "We believe that TotalEnergies has the know-how and commitment to ensure that the projects will be a great success." Ellen Trane Nørby, Chairman of SONFOR, said: “We have worked with the Lillebælt South offshore wind farm for 14 years and believe that TotalEnergies is the perfect partner to implement the project." "We look forward to the inauguration in 2029, where it will be an important factor in Sønderborg Municipalitys efforts to become climate neutral", Nørby said.
