Founded in 1997, Airzone is renowned for its energy-efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions, aiming to reduce energy consumption in heating and cooling — a major contributor to global CO2 emissions. The UK expansion includes the establishment of a dedicated sales team focused on collaborating with HVAC installers, specifiers, and integrators to provide insights and data on client needs and specifications.
Focus on Energy Performance and Regulatory Changes
The Airzone team will concentrate on improving energy performance in residential and commercial buildings while enhancing comfort and reducing costs. The company will also target multi-occupancy buildings such as hotels and offices, integrating HVAC systems that improve heating, cooling, and indoor air quality.
The UK’s regulatory landscape is evolving, with the Future Homes and Buildings Standards set to take effect in 2025, mandating the use of low-carbon technologies like air source heat pumps. Airzone’s HVAC control systems are designed to seamlessly integrate with these technologies, offering property owners and facilities managers a streamlined path to meet the new standards.
Fernando de la Cruz, Airzone’s EMEA Director of New Markets, commented on the expansion: “From 2025, new buildings must comply with the Future Homes Standard and enhanced energy performance targets. Our solutions bridge the gap to energy-efficient, compliant buildings.”
