The municipality of Neuquén put out to tender the underground parking spaces, which will be built by private companies in exchange for the concession. In February, the envelopes will be opened for an investment estimated at 10 billion pesos. Food courts will operate above the parking lots.
The call was titled "multidisciplinary space, gastronomic hub, parking lot and municipal service office.
The work must be completed within a year from the date of the contract signing. The official publication dated the opening of bids for February 18 at 12 noon. Bids will be received up to two hours before and will be received at the Infrastructure Sub-Secretariat of the municipality, which is located in the municipality between Novella and Godoy.
The notice indicates that the concession will be for 30 years (maximum 360 months) and construction may not exceed 360 days. For the framework project, three levels of underground parking were established and in the upper area, where there is currently a large green space for access to the city from the north sector, food businesses and municipal offices will be built.
The space delimited for the "Parque de la Confluencia" must maintain the identity of the Diversity square, the Womens square and the tribute to Mayor Angel Dalla Valentina (1963) and will be included in the area of ????diagonal 9 de Julio, Antártida Argentina - at the southern end - and Salta Street.
The project was valued at around 10 billion pesos and will contain 800 parking units on three underground levels, in a space of 23,000 square meters. Another 2,000 square meters will be the commercial and municipal office area and 40,000 square meters of the park area or green space.

The technical commission (made up of 4 professionals from the municipality) will evaluate the projects of the investment groups and determine the most suitable for a concession of "up to 360 months."
The tender documents will be on sale for 9.5 million pesos. There is no information on how much the special commission will have to analyze the alternatives that are proposed for underground parking. Decree 1,234 of December 6 established the formation of the special unit within the pre-adjudication stage, but did not set deadlines.
