Work Detail The tender on Wednesday had two bidders for the construction, which has a five-month deadline. The project is the result of joint work between different levels of the State, institutions and residents. The Secretary of Territorial Development of the Ministry of Equality and Human Development, Sergio Basile, participated in the opening of envelopes at the headquarters of Bochas Club Bartolomé Mitre Two companies submitted their bids for the tender for the works to improve the electrical infrastructure in the San Lorenzo neighborhood of the city of Santa Fe, where the provincial government, through the ministries of Equality and Human Development and Public Works, will invest more than $190 million within the framework of the Abre Plan and the Focused Neighborhood Interventions (IBF) program. The opening ceremony of the envelopes took place this Wednesday at the headquarters of Bochas Club Bartolomé Mitre, where provincial authorities, legislators, representatives of institutions and residents were present. In this context, Sergio Basile, Secretary of Territorial Development of the Ministry of Equality and Human Development, highlighted that the Abre Plan “continues to embrace the San Lorenzo neighborhood. We have a very firm decision from the governor, Maximiliano Pullaro, our minister Victoria Tejeda, in coordination with the Municipality of Santa Fe, to think directly about how we can generate urban integration. The Abre Plan has its history, it has its identity, and that is respectable in the sense that we continue to pursue the sustained policy.” The bids submitted for the works to improve the electrical infrastructure in the San Lorenzo neighborhood were from the company Pilatti SA, which quoted the total sum of $253,320,199.37; and the company Bildtec SA, which quoted $217,650,800.00. Joint work José Citroni, provincial director of Habitat Planning of the Ministry of Public Works, indicated that the work “is necessary to be able to bring power to all these services that we are going to generate within the blocks. We are talking about a new transformer substation, new medium and low voltage lines, removal of all the wiring and obsolete poles, and a universe of beneficiaries that are not only the 110 more who live within the corridor, but 700 more formal clients that EPE has in the neighborhood”; and he explained that adding a tender carried out days ago “we are talking about more than two billion pesos of investment by the provincial government in this neighborhood, which was prioritized since the beginning of the year.” For her part, Yasmin Lifschitz, undersecretary of the Abre Plan, said that the project “arose from all this interrelated work between the different areas of the State,” and considered the possibility of working “with the neighbors and with the institutions” to be fundamental to the Abre Plan. Meanwhile, Eduardo Rudi, director of the Santa Fe Habitat Agency of the Municipality, stressed that in the joint work between the Province and the Municipality "we found the most concrete and sensible way of approaching, together with the institutions, in the concepts of participation, of management tables, to develop a comprehensive project that focuses on the situation that we have to address." Legislative support The provincial senator for the department of La Capital, Julio Garibaldi, congratulated and highlighted “the governor and the mayor because if they are both convinced, they agree, and have this logic of working together to solve problems, then it also allows the municipal and provincial work teams, the legislators, councilors, deputies and those of our place, we can all work with more energy, with more strength, with the focus on a single objective, which is to solve the problems that exist today and that are within our reach to solve.” In turn, provincial deputy José Corral said that “we continue to collaborate to improve the quality of life in the neighborhood. This progress is very important and worth celebrating, and we commit ourselves once again to continue working together for everything that remains with security. Working together will continue to improve and ensure that we all have the opportunity to live in a city that shelters us and gives us perspective, especially for the youngest, of the future.” Characteristics of the work The work has an official budget of $191,033,092.59, and an execution period of 150 calendar days.
