LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as LONGi), a global leader in solar technology, has launched the cutting-edge new product Hi-MO X10 in Thailand recently.
The company’s latest innovation marks the beginning of a new era with a redefined concept of solar cells, HPBC 2.0,which is designed to improve the conversion efficiency per unit area. This milestone reflects another step forward in the development of cutting-edge innovations powered by world-class technology.
At the product launch event, “LONGi Hi-MO X10: Unleashing the Limitless Future,” attendees experienced a unique introduction to this magnificent product. For the first time in Thailand, N-Type Monofacial solar cells featuring TaiRay Wafer and HPBC 2.0 technology were unveiled. These innovations represent the next level of solar technology, ushering in the BC era with superior efficiency.
A standout feature of the Hi-MO X10 is its HPBC 2.0 cell technology, which builds upon the success of HPBC 1.0 to enhance product value. This advancement offers more usage options and significantly improved efficiency.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Talisman Huo, Head of DGBG Global Marketing, who officiated the launch ceremony for the Hi-MO X10, followed by Ms. Ma Meng, General Manager for Thailand and Vietnam; Ms. Wikanda Chuchai, Sales Director; and Mr. Natthaphat Thaiseeharach, Product Solution Manager at LONGi Thailand, along with other executives and distinguished guests.
In addition to unveiling the latest innovative products, exclusive to Thailand, the event also honored and presented certificates to partners who played a pivotal role in pioneering the Hi-MO X10 market in the country.
Mr. Talisman Huo said, “The launch of Hi-MO X10 marks another significant milestone in the development of solar cell products, ushering in a new era. We believe that BC technology will become a key innovation in the solar cell industry, both in monofacial and bifacial designs. With superior efficiency, increased safety, and exceptional performance across all aspects, this represents an important leap in overcoming technological barriers and fully embracing the BC technology era.
Looking ahead, most of LONGi’s products will focus on BC technology. Our mission is to develop and create new technologies that offer maximum benefits, making it easier for customers to access and to address the diverse needs of the market.
Hi-MO X10: The Best Choice for Rooftop Solar
The Hi-MO X10 solar panel is specifically designed for the rooftop solar market, offering ultra high performance and very unique features. It is outstanding in safety, power generation efficiency, and aesthetic appeal, making it a highly valuable choice in every aspect. Powered by HPBC 2.0 cell technology and constructed with TaiRay wafers, the panel achieves a maximum power output of 670W in mass production—over 30W higher than standard TOPCon solar panels under the same dimension. It also offers an impressive peak efficiency of up to 24.8%.
The Hi-MO X10 integrates HPBC 2.0 technology with a distinctive 0BB (Zero Busbar) structure. This innovative design completely removes circuit lines from the front and busbars from the back of the panel, enhancing its power output by up to 5W. Beyond its sleek aesthetic, this design also significantly improves power generation efficiency.
The Hi-MO X10 excels in both stability and durability, resisting compression and microcracks due to the advanced mechanical properties of the TaiRay Wafer, developed by LONGi. While thinner wafers are common in the solar panel industry, LONGi employs a thicker wafer design to ensure superior strength and meet high production standards.
Additionally, the panel’s all-back welding structure minimizes the risk of micro-cracks during transportation, installation, and operation. Logistics data indicate that this design reduces the likelihood of micro-cracks by 87.2% compared to conventional non-BC cells, ensuring consistent performance under various environmental conditions and enhancing overall durability.
The Hi-MO X10 also incorporates cell-level anti-shading capabilities, enabling stable electricity generation even under partial shading. This feature reduces power loss by up to 70% compared to conventional solar panels, further solidifying its efficiency and reliability.
Solar cells typically convert sunlight into electricity, but even a minor obstruction on the panel can disrupt the electrical flow, creating a hotspot that reduces efficiency and, in severe cases, may cause a fire hazard.
To enhance overall system safety, Hi-MO X10 incorporates “Soft Breakdown Design” technology. This feature allows the electric current to bypass any obstructed cells, flowing through the remaining cells and maintaining a stable temperature across the panel. Testing under the same conditions has shown that the Hi-MO X10 maintains a temperature 28% lower than conventional solar panels, significantly reducing the risk of overheating and fire hazards. As a result, the Hi-MO X10 offers superior safety.
These innovations align with LONGi’s vision of advancing technology and strengthening its position as a global leader in solar energy. |
