Alan B. Miller Medical Center topping out: Turner celebrates topping out ceremony for a new 432,000-square-foot hospital project in Palm Beach Gardens.
In Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Turner Construction Company has made substantial progress on the Alan B. Miller Medical Center project. The team commemorated a key construction milestone with a traditional topping out ceremony, marking the completion of the building’s structural steel framework. This new medical center is poised to significantly enhance healthcare access and services for local residents, representing an important investment in the community’s medical infrastructure.
This project will be a new construction of a new 432,000-square-foot full-service facility which will have two podium levels and five patient floors. Each floor will have five different patient care units and will have a total of 30 beds.
The medical center facility will comprise of 150 private patient rooms, a separate future medical office building and a helipad to enhance the flow of emergency care unit. The departments and support services include admissions, administration, food services, surgical services, imaging, emergency department, central plant, and other ancillary support spaces.

When will the new Alan B. Miller Medical Center be completed?
The Alan B. Miller Medical Center, which is due for completion in 2026, will provide more opportunities for better healthcare to the people of Palm Beach Gardens and its surround in areas. On March 28, 2023, project leaders and stakeholders ceremonially laid the foundation for the new hospital, marking the official start of construction. The new state-of-the-art hospital was previously planned to be completed by 2025. The new hospital’s name was revealed today and is the Alan B. Miller Medical Center, named after the Founder and Executive Chairman of UHS.
The construction of the building is being conducted by Turner Construction company while the Architect ,Engineering firm is Gresham Smith and Partners.
