Work Detail |
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved Rs. 937 crore for the development of a 45-kilometer stretch between Bhuj and Nakhtrana, transforming it into a four-lane high-speed corridor. This upgrade is part of the state’s broader focus on improving infrastructure, particularly to enhance connectivity to key tourist destinations.
Currently a 10-meter wide road, the upgraded corridor will offer smoother and faster travel to prominent attractions such as the Mata No Madh pilgrimage site, Narayan Sarovar, Dhordo, and the White Rann of Kutch. The improved road will also serve as a vital link to the international border and Panandhro Lignite Mines, while connecting Kutch to neighboring districts and states.
The transformation into a high-speed corridor is expected to facilitate more efficient, fast, and fuel-efficient transportation, boosting both tourism and regional connectivity. |
