Trident Group has unveiled plans to invest ?3,000 crore in Madhya Pradesh’s textile sector, which will expand its workforce from 12,000 to over 15,000 employees. The announcement was made by Chairman Rajinder Gupta at the “Invest Madhya Pradesh” Regional Industry Conclave in Narmadapuram on December 9, 2024.
During a meeting with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Gupta discussed potential investment opportunities and industrial expansion. Trident has already invested ?5,000 crore in the state, with its finished products currently being exported to 122 countries worldwide.
Gupta emphasized the company’s commitment to local development, noting that 50% of the new employment opportunities would be reserved for women. He also praised the state’s potential for sustainable growth, particularly in solar and wind energy development.
