The work will be carried out on Liborio Pupillo Street and De Los Corrales Avenue between Lisandro De La Torre Avenue and Andalgalá Street. The Ministry of Public Space and Urban Hygiene of the City of Buenos Aires issued a public tender to contract the execution of the “Upgrading of Boulevard Avenida De Los Corrales”, in the Mataderos neighborhood (Commune 9). The official budget for the project amounts to $6,686,865,544.81. The opening of bids will take place on November 21. The project is located in commune 9 of CABA in the Mataderos neighborhood, on Liborio Pupillo and Avenida De Los Corrales streets between Lisandro De La Torre Avenue and Andalgalá Street, explains the tender document. Regarding the characteristics of the proposal, it is stated: “The planned intervention proposes to enhance the environment, which will allow the green and pedestrian area to be expanded, improving environmental conditions and expanding the offer of public space.” “On the Liborio Pupillo promenade, the repair of paving stones on the road and sidewalks in poor condition, completion of missing bollards, landscaping tasks and general maintenance are contemplated. On Av. De Los Corrales between Av. Lisandro De La Torre and Andalgalá, the repaving of the road, widening of the boulevard, completion of tree-lined sidewalks, landscaping and installation of irrigation on the boulevard, addition of pedestrian streetlights and addition of new benches, among other enhancement tasks are proposed,” official sources add.
