The tender launched by the provincial government proposes a 15 MW photovoltaic plant to be located in the citys Energy Supply and Production Hub.
Only one offer, corresponding to the UT Mariana Solar – FCS Energía – PowerChina Argentina, was part of the opening of envelopes for the tender of the 15 MW solar park to be developed in the town of General Pico, called by the government of the province of La Pampa.
Call for tenders section A corresponds to the presentation of the technical proposal, which includes the technical capacity of the project, the environmental aspect, the work plan, the equipment and resources that the company agrees to use in the development of the solar park.
The tender, presented last October , which is promoted not only by the provincial government but also by the provincial energy company PAMPetrol and the Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade (I-COMEX), proposes what will be a second stage, which will be added to the first, of 10 MW, in charge of PAMPetrol, and pending approval by the Pampean Chamber of Deputies.
The General Pico plant is estimated to generate 36.5 GWh, energy equivalent to supplying 9,000 homes in La Pampa.
The statement said that the offer received from UT Mariana Solar – FCS Energía – PowerChina Argentina “will be evaluated by the Pre-Awarding Committee, created for this purpose in the following days.”
The tender provides for the creation of a Temporary Union Contract (UT) between the company that is awarded the contract (80% participation) and PAMPetrol (20%), with a full EPC – turnkey project modality.
It is also assured that the work projects, in the medium term, to complete 50 MW of power throughout the 100 hectares arranged in General Pico for this purpose, through public-private investment initiatives, and will be integrated into the Local Electric Energy Market (MLEE), put into operation with the Victorica photovoltaic park, of 7 MW, inaugurated last April . |
