In the Conference Room of the Administrative Commission for the Special Fund of Salto Grande (CAFESG), the envelopes were opened for the tender for the remodeling of the cafeteria and drainage system of School No. 6 "Gral. San Martín", located in the El Toronjal neighborhood of Concordia. The work, which has an official budget of $66,996,457.53 and a term of execution of 120 days, attracted three companies interested in carrying out the work.
The proposals submitted were sent to an evaluation committee made up of CAFESG professionals, who will analyze the documentation together with other areas of the provincial government. Once the evaluation is completed, they will inform the Board of Directors of the organization for the final award of the work.
Authorities present
The event was attended by the president of CAFESG, Carlos Cecco, and the members of the Board of Directors: Pablo Canali, Miguel Piana, Felicitas Rodríguez, Armando Gay and Miguel Cattani. Also present were the director of the Department of Schools of Concordia, Julio Barrios, the undersecretary of Education of the municipality, Carlos Gatto, and the director of School No. 6, Mariel Zambucho.
Details of the work
The project seeks to solve critical functionality problems in the dining room, kitchen and other areas of the establishment, including:
Repair of floors and plastering indoors and outdoors.
Solution to problems of floor subsidence and flooding in hallways.
Improvements to the electrical installation and construction of a storm and sewage drainage system.
Construction of a perimeter sidewalk and ditch to optimize drainage.
Cleaning and leveling of the land, in addition to the creation of more functional storage spaces.
The main objective is to guarantee the operation and safety of the dining room, kitchen and staff bathrooms, benefiting the entire educational community of the institution.
This project represents an important step in improving school infrastructure, reaffirming CAFESGs commitment to the educational and social development of Concordia.
