PV GAS and PV Power have just held a signing ceremony for the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for the trial operation of Nhon Trach 3 and Nhon Trach 4 Power Plants.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Chairman of the council Board of PV GAS, and Mr. Hoang Van Quang - Chairman of the council of PV Power, both emphasized that todays signing ceremony is an important step for the two corporations in particular and for PVN in general in the roadmap to turn imported LNG into the main fuel source for gas-fired power plants in Vietnam, gradually replacing the rapidly declining natural gas source in the Southeast region (With a reduction of about 1 billion m3 of standard gas per year).
