Work Detail A Tennessee company has announced its second Elkhart County expansion in a year. Monogram Food Solutions LLC is planning to pump $5.3 million into improvements to its Bristol facility and add up to 74 more jobs by year's end. Last summer, the food product manufacturer announced a $13 million investment and 75 jobs at the northern Indiana plant, an employment target Monogram Foods says it has already exceeded.

The company currently employs more than 350 in Indiana.

Construction on the latest expansion is already underway and it will accommodate a new corndog production line. It plans to produce more than 3 million corn dogs each day under store brand labels.

Monogram Foods Chief Executive Officer Karl Schledwitz says "we are exceedingly proud of our Bristol team members. Bristol is one of our most productive plants, and we attribute its growth and success to the great people of Bristol and Elkhart County that make up the Monogram Comfort Foods Family."

The company is holding career fairs September 7 and October 5 at the Bristol facility. It is currently hiring first and second shift production team workers, maintenance technicians, machine operators and forklift operators.

Monogram Foods has been offered up to $200,000 in conditional tax credits from the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
