The tender for the rehabilitation of Provincial Route 6 is moving forward: what the work includes
The works will extend for 13 kilometers with an investment of more than 12 billion pesos
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Services of Córdoba has opened the tender for the comprehensive rehabilitation of Provincial Route 6, between the towns of La Laguna and Pasco.
This is a project that will require an investment of more than 12 billion pesos and will extend for 13 km.
The section to be worked on has undulations in its longitudinal profile, transverse deformations, potholes and cracks. To improve its serviceability, a comprehensive intervention will be carried out on the section, providing it with a new road surface.
Given the significant traffic of large vehicles that circulate on this route, a semi-rigid structure is planned for the section between Pasco and Provincial Route 4.
The works will include milling the existing asphalt layer, recycling the granular layer with the addition of cement, the construction of a cemented granular base and the subsequent replacement of the asphalt layer.
As for the channelized intersection, the structural solution adopted involves the removal of the asphalt pavement, the recycling of the sub-base with cement and the construction of a new concrete pavement.
