31 foundations are now in place at Ocean Winds 496MW French offshore wind farm
DEME Group has announced it has successfully installed the 31st foundation at Ocean Winds 496MW Îles d’Yeu et Noirmoutier wind farm.
Deploying the jack-up vessel ‘Innovation’, the installation marks the halfway point of the drilled XL-monopiles campaign.
Facing a rocky seabed and challenging ocean conditions, it is deploying a 350-tonne offshore foundation drill, co-developed with Herrenknecht.
DEME also deployed the 60-metre-tall drilling system MODIGA. |
