The historic project will benefit more than 45 towns, 120,000 inhabitants and 250 industries
The province launched the bidding process to build six gas pipelines
Within the framework of the ambitious Gas Pipeline Plan for Development presented at the end of August by Governor Maximiliano Pullaro, this Friday, November 8, the call for bids began for companies interested in carrying out the construction of the six gas pipelines included in the initiative.
Meanwhile, the envelopes will be opened next Thursday, December 12. “This administration is working hard to equalize production conditions; we want companies to be able to compete equally throughout the province. For Santa Fe to continue to strengthen itself as the engine of change in the country, large-scale infrastructure is key,” said the Minister of Productive Development, Gustavo Puccini.
This is a historic 610 km gas pipeline project that will benefit more than 45 towns, 120 thousand inhabitants and 250 industries in Santa Fe. The works will require a total investment of 196,414,502,000 pesos. The construction of these main pipelines will allow the optimization of the energy matrix of the province of Santa Fe and, in addition, will reduce costs for a more competitive production. In turn, this infrastructure will enable the future decentralized generation of electric energy.
Six gas pipelines
The six gas pipelines will be distributed throughout the entire Santa Fe boot, generating conditions that will improve the quality of life of its inhabitants. “We know what the residents of this rich province live through, which contributes so much to this federal system and that unfortunately nothing comes back. We see the difficulties that our industries and our companies have in being competitive,” said the governor when presenting the plan.
“Therefore, we understand that we have to make political decisions that allow Santa Fe to be a competitive province that generates work; a province that generates employment. And, fundamentally, that it is seen that it is the province that is the driving force of the change that is coming to the Argentine Republic,” he said.
