Crouzeilles Avenue, which runs from north to south through the west side of the city of Neuquén, was put out to tender and the opening of the envelopes was scheduled for the last business day of the month. Almost half of the work will be financed by the province, one of the first agreements with joint contributions signed by Governor Rolando Figueroa and Mariano Gaido as part of the "governability" agreement.
It is part of the plan to pave 3,000 blocks of asphalt over the next two years and 25 new avenues to cross the city in 15 minutes, according to the official slogans in Neuquén capital.
The Crouizeilles and the paving of Río Colorado Street, together with the Paseo de la Costa at the height of the Independiente club on the banks of the Neuquén River, were the first mega projects in which unity without cracks was declared between the provincial and municipal governments, which included the contribution of funds from the Community government of Governor Rolando Figueroa and that of Mayor Mariano Gaido.
The call for bids is for 3,350 meters of pavement from Bragado, at the gates of the Los Hornos neighborhood, to the intersection of Avenida Necochea, at the access to Canal V. The official budget was 5.197 million pesos, with offers that will be received in the municipality of Neuquén until November 20.
Of the total funding, 3.5 billion corresponds to a non-refundable contribution from the province, through Water Resources, which will be responsible for the concreting of the canal and the work on the drainage system.
La Crouzeilles coexists with a 1,600-metre-long irrigation canal and a 2,400-metre-long drainage canal.
The current gravel road will be registered as one of the new main roads of the city, with a free width of 12 meters and a sewer connector of more than one kilometer (1,100 meters long). It will have speed bumps and concrete accessories, it will be made of concrete, with vertical and horizontal signage.
Some wooden and concrete poles on the power line will be replaced, it was reported.
On the 29th, the last working day of November, the envelopes with the offers are scheduled to be opened at 10 a.m. at Novella and Godoy, the municipal building located in Greater Neuquén, in the Infrastructure and Planning offices.

The work is included in the municipal budget for 2025 and that of the province for the new period.
It will take approximately one year (360 days) to complete from the signing of the contract and will seek a quick exit from the airport area to the northern highway. In Crouzeilles and Necochea, the crossing of irrigation channels and stormwater infrastructure is being carried out, which was done for the paving of Avenida Necochea and which allowed the continuity of the asphalt towards the north.
The new avenue will provide a concrete road to the entire area of ??private developments that have been spread out in subdivisions in rural northern Valentina, where farms used to predominate. And it will bring services closer to a sector of the city that has been demanding gas connections and improvements in sewage infrastructure for years. |
