Mitsubishi Power Americas’ battery storage subsidiary has secured an order from Innergex Renewable Energy to supply two new projects.
Prevalon Energy has announced an order from Canada-based renewable energy developer and operator Innergex Renewable Energy, extending their previous collaboration.
The battery storage spin-off of Mitsubishi Power Americas will supply its HD 511 systems, a liquid-cooled AC solution that includes battery enclosures, inverters, medium-voltage transformers and an energy management system (EMS), to be installed at two sites: San Andrés and Salvador, in Chile’s Atacama region.
The San Andrés facility will feature a five-hour battery storage system, supplying up to 210 MWh, while the Salvador facility will house a five-hour system with a capacity of 100 MWh. Both projects are scheduled for completion in 2026.
