| Work Detail | Al Yamamah will supply steel towers for an ultra-high-voltage power line in Saudi Arabias central region. Saudi Arabia’s Al Yamamah Steel Industries has signed off a contract with Larsen & Toubro Saudi Arabia to supply steel towers for a 380kV ultra-high-voltage line in the kingdom. In a filing to the Saudi bourse Tadawul last week, Al Yamamah Steel said the contract is valued at $31.7 million (SAR119 million). The contract will see Al Yamamah Steel supply steel towers to Indian energy conglomerate Larsen & Toubro’s Saudi Arabia division for a project to construct a 380kV ultra-high-voltage line in the kingdom’s central region, starting in January 2025. Al Yamamah also said the financial impact of the contract will start appearing in the second quarter of the 2025 fiscal year. |
