This is the Ramaditas photovoltaic park, which is being promoted by the Spanish company Zelestra Energy in the Tarapacá region. An investment of 550 million dollars is proposed.The 420 MWp Ramaditas photovoltaic park project has been submitted for admission to the Chilean Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA), presented by the countrys subsidiary of the Spanish company Zelestra Energy.
According to the presentation to the SEIA, the plant will be located in the commune of Pozo Almonte, province of Tamarugal, Tarapacá region, on a total area of ??820.46 hectares.
The project also includes the installation of 2,160 MWh of lithium battery storage capacity.
According to the project description presented by Zelestra , 626,880 solar panels of 670 Wp each will be installed, mounted on metal support structures with solar tracking on one axis.
Ramaditas is proposed with an investment of 550 million dollars, and will inject energy into the National Electric System (SEN) through a high voltage power line (220 kV) of 8.1 km in length and a sectioning substation called Substation "RAM1" that sections the existing Lagunas Puquios High Voltage Line, it is assured in the presentation. |
