The Municipality of Frontera opened the envelopes for the national public tender for the work of widening urban pavements.
On Wednesday morning at the Municipal Library, the act of opening the envelopes of the National Public Tender No. 03/2024 for the execution of 2,800 m2 of the work of "widening urban pavements" took place.
The event took place at the Municipal Library, with the presence of Mayor Oscar Martínez, the Secretary of Government and Social Policies, Diego Seghezzi, the Secretary of Finance and Administration, Juan Carlos Rinaldi, and the Accountant Leandro Chavarini.
Mayor Oscar Martínez said: "It is a historic event for our city, since it has been more than 20 years since urban paving was carried out." The work will benefit the residents of the front lines and will generate connectivity in the city.
A total of four companies—Ingebor SA, Base 2, ACAFE SA and Picatti (LC)—submitted their bids, and in the coming days it will be announced which company will be responsible for carrying out this important project. The execution period will be 30 to 45 days, with total closure of the streets to speed up the time and reduce costs.
The streets to be worked on include Calle 5 between Calle 74 and Calle 82 (in four sections), as well as Calle 7 between Calle 80 and Calle 82 and Calle 80 between Calle 5 and Calle 7.
The project will receive provincial funding of 208 million pesos. The commitment will be to continue working to carry out more projects in the future.
