Work Detail NTPC Partners With Indian Army For Solar Hydrogen Microgrid In Ladakh NTPC Ltd. has joined hands with the Indian Army to establish a solar hydrogen-based microgrid in Chushul, Ladakh. The project, intended to provide stable, year-round power using green hydrogen, was inaugurated by Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh via video conference, attended by Chiefs of India’s defense services, NTPC CMD, and senior officials from the Ministry of Defence and NTPC. EESL Issues Tender For 1,000 MWp Of DCR-Compliant Solar PV Modules Across India Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a joint venture under India’s Ministry of Power, issued a tender (NIT No: EESL/06/2024-25/1GW Solar Module/OTE/242510001) for supplying 1,000 MWp of DCR-compliant 540 Wp+ solar PV modules. Following a single-stage, two-envelope bidding process, submissions are due by 11:00 AM IST on November 11, 2024. Valid for six months post-award, this contract mandates fixed pricing, strict delivery adherence, and separate Earnest Money Deposits for each package. A pre-bid meeting is set for November 4, 2024. Brookfield Properties Secures Renewable Power From Bikaner Solar Project For Delhi-NCR Campuses Brookfield Properties announced that it will source renewable energy from its solar project located in Bikaner, Rajasthan, to supply green power to four office campuses across the Delhi-NCR region. This initiative marks the company’s first partnership in India under the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) bilateral arrangement. With this transition, occupiers at Brookfield Properties’ campuses in Delhi-NCR will now receive 40% of their energy from renewable sources. Kerala Startup Mission Invests ?15 Crore In Transition VC To Boost Clean Energy Startups The Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has partnered with Transition VC, a venture capital fund focused on energy transition, to accelerate the growth of clean energy and decarbonization startups. The Kerala state government, through KSUM, has invested ?15 crore in Transition VC, marking a major milestone in the state’s efforts to achieve its sustainability and energy independence goals. SJVN Green Energy Opens Bidding For 700 MW Solar Power Project In Khavda, Gujarat SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a subsidiary of SJVN Limited, has issued a tender for a 700 MW (AC) solar project in Khavda, Gujarat, divided into two phases: GUVNL Phase XXI (500 MW) and GUVNL Phase XXIII (200 MW). The EPC project covers design, engineering, supply, installation, and three-year O&M. Bidders can participate in increments of 100 MW. Key dates include bid submission by November 19, 2024, with a reverse auction to follow. An EMD of ?10.70 crore per 100 MW is required, and competitive pricing will determine bid selection. JSW Renew Energy Signs 700 MW Power Purchase Agreement With SECI JSW Renew Energy Eleven Limited, a step-down subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for a significant solar project. NTPC REL Invites Bids For 600 MW Solar PV Project In Dhule, Maharashtra NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has issued bids for a 600 MW solar PV project in Dhule, Maharashtra, covering land acquisition and power evacuation. Responsibilities include securing 5 acres per MW near the Dhule substation, conducting topography and geotechnical surveys, and building approach roads. The scope also involves designing and commissioning a 220 kV pooling substation and transmission line to the ISTS substation, plus a three-year O&M. Bids close on 20th November 2024. This project is part of NTPC’s renewable energy expansion in India.
