According to municipal sources, the temporary joint venture between Lemiro Pablo Pietroboni SA – Panedile Arg. SAICF and I – CONCRET-NOR SA, was awarded the contract for the comprehensive remodeling of the sewage system and the treatment of wastewater in Concepción del Uruguay.
This UTE was the only bidder that participated in the tender that took place on November 21, 2023. The offer made by the UTE was almost 21 billion pesos.
It will have an execution period of 48 months (6 months of design; 24 months of construction; 6 months of testing and 12 months of operation).
In article 2 of the resolution they indicate that they award the national public tender contract number 01/2023 for the execution of the work: "Design, construction, operation and maintenance: comprehensive remodeling of the sewage system of Concepción del Uruguay within the framework of the comprehensive sanitation program of the cities of the Uruguay River basin, Bid loan number 4822 / OC-RG to the Compromiso de Unión Temporaryoria de Empresas Lemiro Pablo Pietroboni SA- Panedile Arg. SACF- Concretnor S.A, for an amount of 20,812,549,865.86 pesos for complying with the provisions of the bidding document and for being convenient to the interests of the State."
The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Planning, Infrastructure and Services of Entre Ríos, through the Provincial Executive Unit, which will conduct it in coordination with the municipality.
The financing will be provided by the Inter-American Development Bank, which in 2019 approved the comprehensive sanitation program for cities along the Uruguay River, which includes Concepción del Uruguay among other municipalities.
The objective of the program is to advance the sanitation of the banks of the Uruguay River, contributing to improving the quality of life of the population. It proposes the expansion of coverage and the improvement of sewage and wastewater treatment services in the cities located in the river basin.
Initiatives of this nature are planned to be carried out in the cities of Colón, San José and Concordia, while significant progress has already been made in Gualeguaychú.
