Six companies participated in the tender to build a new school in Rodeo del Medio
The secondary school has a total construction area of ??more than 1,600 square meters and will benefit 300 students.
The Undersecretariat of Infrastructure and Territorial Development opened the envelopes for the tender for the construction of a new secondary school that will be located in the district of Rodeo del Medio, Maipú.
The administrative act took place this Thursday on the seventh floor of the Government House and 6 bidders were presented. These are the companies: Capsa SRL, Estructuras del Oeste SA, Natural Terra SA, Corporación del Sur SA, Apolo Sur SA and CACSA.
The official budgets basic offer is $2,332,037,614. The economic and technical offers will now be analyzed in order to move forward with the bidding process.
This School Nº4-000 Rodeo del Medio has a total construction area of ??1,680.48 square meters and the works will benefit about 300 students. It will be located on a large plot of land on Necochea Street between 1st Street, 2nd Street and 3rd Street in the 25 de Julio neighborhood, Rodeo del Medio, Maipú.
The design criteria of the new school
The construction is traditional with reinforced concrete, exposed beams and columns, walls of white painted bagged brick, glass, metal, wood. It will have a solid and flat exposed concrete slab roof.
As for the terrain and its relationship with the surroundings, a low building with interior courtyards was designed. For the classrooms, a sequence of comb-shaped blocks was generated, linked to each other by a north-south circulation that borders the main courtyard.
These blocks were oriented to the north, to obtain direct solar gain on this façade in winter. Large openings with diffused glass treatment were also designed in strategic sectors, with the aim of controlling the light and, at the same time, making the most of the available solar resource.
The classrooms stand out for having a classroom patio as an extension of the interior space. In this way, it is possible to develop various tasks and pedagogical activities. The intention was to take the classroom outside, at certain times and seasons that allow it. The same was thought for the rest of the areas: Government, laboratories and buffet.
Due to the particularity of the area, a small entrance plaza to the school was proposed to be created in the north of the site, integrated into the main courtyard. This will be useful for students and the community, because there are two bus stops in this area.
Finally, the sports field will be attached to the buffet and away from the classrooms.
