Emirates announces plans for 23 MW solar project

Serbia signs agreement for 1 GW of solar power and 200 MW of battery storage
Serbia’s Ministry of Mines and Energy, utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) and a consortium of Hyundai Engineering and UGT Renewables have signed an implementation agreement for six new solar plants totalling 1 GW. Up to 200 MW of battery storage will be developed at the facilities.

Nepal’s 800 MW grid-connected solar tender exceeds expectations
The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has received proposals from 134 companies for a total of 3.6 GW. According to the authority, 259 projects from 127 developers have passed the technical evaluation of the bid and will be considered when financial proposals are opened on 22 October.
