The Argentine energy company 360Energy has announced that, following the commercial approvals of the solar parks La Rioja I, La Rioja II and La Rioja III, for a total of 122 MW, the completion of the La Rioja Solar Complex, located in the town of Nonogasta in that province, has been completed. According to a statement, this is one of the largest solar parks in the country whose energy is destined for MATER contracts. The project deploys more than 190 thousand panels on a surface of 299 hectares, with an estimated generation capacity of 300 GWh/year, equivalent to the average consumption of more than 80,000 Argentine homes. It has 3,588 rows of Arctech solar trackers, 463 Huawei inverters, 19 transformation and connection centers to the Argentine Interconnection System (SADI) through the Nonogasta Solar 132kV ET. It turns out that the complex already has several power purchase agreements with companies such as Stellantis , Acerbrag, Bridgestone, Holcim , Rehau, Estisol, Transclor and Smurfit Westrock . Its construction was financed through Negotiable Obligations issued by 360Energy between 2022 and 2024 , from which the company placed 100 million dollars. The investment in the project, together with the expansion of ET Nonogasta Solar, is said to have been more than 97 million dollars. During its construction, more than 500 jobs were created directly and indirectly, most of them in the province of La Rioja, in addition to working with more than 60 suppliers in the region. |
