The highly anticipated Solar Week Zambia 2024: Conference & Awards, organized by SolarQuarter, took place on October 10th, 2024, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Lusaka, Zambia. This landmark event brought together key players, innovators, and policymakers from the renewable energy sector to drive influential discussions on the future of solar power in Zambia.
Delivering empowering remarks, Mr. Gift Mweetwa, Director of Planning at Pemba Town Council, Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, emphasized the transformative power of solar energy in driving sustainable development and rural progress in Zambia. “The Solar Week Zambia 2024 is a pivotal platform for accelerating the adoption of solar solutions, with the potential to revolutionize our energy sector and improve livelihoods across communities nationwide,” said Mr. Mweetwa.
