The Ministries of Public Works and Services and Production shared the opening of bids for the “General Reconditioning of the Perimeter Fence in the Industrial Park” in Santa Rosa. These are essential works to reinforce the security of the structures of the companies that use the complex.
The bidding ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Works and Services of the Province, with the presence of the Undersecretary of Industry, Commerce and SMEs of the Ministry of Production, Vanina Fernández and the General Director of Public Works and Services, Antonela Dosso.
Seven bidding companies participated in the event: ILKA Construcciones SRL; Andrés Alberto Malgá; Luis Antonio Lira; Insumos y Servicios Patagónicos; Antonella Canalis; Zulema Ledesma and BK Construcciones. The objectives of the contract include weeding, complete cleaning of the existing fence line, over a strip of 1.50 meters wide on each of the two sides of the fence line, removal of weeds and shrub species that hinder the conservation of the fence and its posting. The clearing of existing caldén is not included.
The perimeter of the Industrial Park forms an irregular shape with an approximate area of ??5,250 square meters.
A high percentage of this fence is covered by different shrub species, damaged and/or missing wire mesh, as well as the concrete columns that support it, generating a series of jobs that require maintenance tasks.
The main tasks are related to cleaning the perimeter fence line, including the complete removal of trees, bushes and vines on it; repair/replacement of damaged panels; replacement of damaged columns; replacement of damaged lower walls (50-centimeter-high precast concrete panels); placement of damaged and missing panels, columns and lower walls; clearing weeds from all sidewalks on the perimeter line; leveling the internal sidewalks of the perimeter line, ensuring the possibility of transit with machines inherent to their maintenance; replacing damaged and/or missing cement posts distributed on the perimeter line with new ones; building 110 linear meters of plinth, in masonry and/or precast, damaged or missing; and completing with new material - due to lack or breakage - the indicated fence sections (approximately 1,905 linear meters).
"Expected" work
Regarding the objectives of the call for tenders, the Undersecretary stressed that "it is a project that has been eagerly awaited. It is part of the enhancement that we have been carrying out from the Provincial Government in the Industrial Parks of the Province. This is part of the work that we have been carrying out with the Ministry of Public Works and Services to provide better service and better infrastructure to the users of the Park," she added.
In this regard, he continued, "this particular work will allow us to improve the security service once it is finished. We recently put out a tender to contract the security service in the Industrial Park, so this adds to this proposal for users."
"The park has a perimeter of more than 5,000 meters, there are different stages within it, some are to rebuild everything from masonry to wired perimeter fencing and others to replace entire sections. The work will begin after all the offers are analyzed and will have a completion period of 100 days," he concluded.
