RITES Ltd, a leading transport infrastructure consultancy, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) today to collaborate on metro projects in India and abroad. The partnership aims to leverage RITES’ expertise in transport infrastructure and DMRC’s extensive experience in metro rail operations to explore opportunities in urban transit systems.
The collaboration will focus on providing services such as General Consultancy, Project Management, Detailed Design, and Feasibility Studies. This strategic move aligns with RITES’ RITES Videsh initiative, which seeks to expand its presence in international markets.
As a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise with a 50-year track record, RITES has successfully undertaken transport consultancy and engineering projects in over 55 countries across Asia, Africa, Latin America, South America, and the Middle East. This new partnership with DMRC is expected to enhance both organizations ability to deliver top-tier solutions for metro projects, both domestically and globally.
