Work Detail Lithuanian company Solitek has announced two new 435W integrated rooftop PV modules featuring 22.04% efficient cell technology. Solitek’s Solid Solrif rooftop product line is paired with mounting systems supplied by Swiss company Ernst Schweizer AG. Lithuanian module and battery manufacturer Solitek has announced two new 435W tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) rooftop modules with a cell efficiency of 22.04%. The Solid Solrif D and Solid Solrif N panels measure 1767mm x 1160mm and are available in all-black or all-transparent designs. “We have upgraded our entire module portfolio with new power ratings and advanced cell technology. Our modules are now among the most efficient on the market,” Julius Sakalauskas, CEO of Solitek, told pv magazine . “This system serves as both an elegant roof and a powerful solar field, debunking the myth that integrated solar roofs are too expensive.” The modules are based on 108 half-cut n-type M10 TOPCon cells in a glass package. The Solid Solrif D has a 3.2 mm glass and hail class 4. The Solid Solrif N has a 2.0 mm glass with hail class 3 certification. Both products feature an anti-reflective coating and a power temperature coefficient of -0.30%/ºC. The aluminum frame is manufactured with a black powder coating. The modules are made to serve as a traditional tile roof enabled by a roof solution supplied by Ernst Schweizer AG, a Swiss manufacturer of solar roof systems. Sold with a 30-year product and efficiency warranty, the modules’ extreme climate features include snow load support up to 10,500 P, wind loads up to 3,600 P, and Class A fire certification. They have an open circuit voltage of 38.92 V, a short circuit current of 13.80 A, and an IP68-rated junction box. All new Solitek modules maintain the same sustainability features as previous versions, according to the manufacturer, such as cradle-to-cradle (C2C) gold certification. They are manufactured using 100% renewable energy, are 98% recyclable and have 35% recycled glass content.
