The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) announced that the H2 Mobility Energy Environment Technology (H2 MEET 2024) exhibition had its grand opening yesterday at KINTEX in Goyang City and will run until September 27.
The fifth edition of the H2 Mobility Energy Environment Technology (H2 MEET 2024) exhibition is drawing a record participation of 317 companies and institutions from 24 countries. The event covers all areas of the hydrogen industry and showcases prominent products and technologies related to hydrogen production, storage, transport, and utilization.
Major global companies have set up booths showcasing a wide range of hydrogen-powered engines, tractors, cargo bikes, and other mobility products. The exhibition also highlights key hydrogen storage and transport solutions, including clean hydrogen production facilities for electrolysis and carbon capture, hydrogen liquefaction tanks, pipelines, and chargers.
A number of sideline events are scheduled, including the Leaders Summit, where global hydrogen industry trends and technologies will be discussed, and the Country Day, featuring presentations on hydrogen policies from Australia, Canada, and the U.S. The H2 Innovation Award will recognize companies for their innovation in hydrogen technology, while a trade consultation event will support Korean businesses seeking international market entry.
MOTIE Vice Minister Namho Choe attended the opening ceremony and reaffirmed the Korean government’s commitment to fostering a hydrogen ecosystem. He highlighted policies such as the introduction of the clean hydrogen power bidding market and efforts to increase the distribution of hydrogen buses as key initiatives supporting this goal. |
