Freyr Energy, one of the country’s fastest-growing solar companies, has announced its expansion into the retail space by establishing experience centers in 45 cities over the next two years. This strategic initiative aims to provide an interactive solar experience for customers in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, enhancing awareness about the benefits of solar energy for homes. The experience centers will serve as customer engagement hubs, featuring live working models of both residential and commercial solar systems. This venture is expected to create a significant number of direct and indirect jobs, potentially benefiting up to 200 individuals within the local communities. Aligning with the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE)’s sustainability goals, Freyr Energy aims to tap into the untapped potential for solar adoption in these cities. The first experience center is set to open in Karimnagar, with two additional centers planned for Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam next month. The centers will showcase a wide range of solar products, including KL Mono Perk and Mono Bifacial modules, as well as essential system components such as inverters, ACDB and DCDB boxes, earthing cables, AC/DC cables, lightning arresters, and galvanized iron structures for modules. Freyr’s strategically located warehouses are prepared to efficiently handle the increasing demand for these products. Ms. Radhika Choudary, Co-Founder of Freyr Energy, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, “Freyr Energy’s initiative will open doors to potential customers who may have limited exposure to rooftop solar or rely on local service providers that often lack reliability. The Solar Experience Centre will foster a deeper connection with customers and offer a diverse range of products tailored to the growing demand for advanced rooftop solar technology.” Saurabh Marda, Managing Director of Freyr Energy, noted, “These experience centers will strengthen our brand and help build trust and awareness with customers. We will open one such center in every city that we operate in, ensuring a uniform customer experience across the country.” With personalized services offered at these retail outlets, Freyr Energy aims to enhance customer awareness and establish a lasting ecosystem of trust. Having installed over 60 MW of solar capacity to date, the company plans to double its growth, focusing on a comprehensive solar solution ecosystem. This retail expansion marks a significant step in Freyr Energy’s mission to empower individuals and businesses across India to harness solar energy effectively. |
