This is the first tender carried out this year and includes the construction of 81 homes in the departments of Guaymallén and San Martín. Moving forward with the provinces public works plan, and in coordination with the Undersecretary of Infrastructure and Territorial Development, the Provincial Housing Institute (IPV) made the first call for the construction of social housing in 2024, which precedes many others that will be completed by the end of the year. On this occasion, the works for the 27 de Febrero neighborhoods of Guaymallén and Cavagnaro Second Stage, of San Martín, of 33 and 48 homes respectively, will be put out to tender. These projects are part of the Mendoza Construye Línea 1 Plan and will be financed entirely with provincial funds. Meanwhile, the municipalities are involved in carrying out the urbanization works on the land and prioritizing the applicants. The Government has allocated a total budget of $4,251,174,154 million for these neighborhoods . In the case of the 27 de Febrero neighborhood, the investment will be around $1,660,195,213.49. This project, which includes the construction of 33 houses, has an estimated deadline of 12 months. For the second stage of the Cavagnaro neighborhood, a budget of $2,590,978,941.27 was set for the 48 units that comprise it. This work has an estimated deadline of 14 months. The opening of the envelopes will take place on October 21 at the headquarters of the Provincial Housing Institute, at 9 a.m. for the first of the neighborhoods, and at 11 a.m. for the second.
