The works will be carried out in the Cardiovascular Surgery and Recovery Service and in the sector that includes the old buffet, and in the Neurology and Neurosurgery area.
The Undersecretariat of Infrastructure and Territorial Development called for bids to refurbish two sectors of the Humberto Notti Pediatric Hospital. The administrative act will be carried out on October 8, 2024 at 10 a.m., at the Government House.
The work will be carried out in sector 1, where the cardiovascular surgery and recovery service is located, with the addition of the angiograph, and in sector 2, which includes the old buffet, the Neurology and Neurosurgery area of ??Island 5 and the public toilets.
Specifically, sector 1 will be refurbished to have a sectorized area, with separate entrances to the surgery and haemodynamics areas. The white surgical area will have two operating rooms and a command for the angiographer. In the grey area, there will be a doctors washroom, a storage room for supplies and equipment, and a washing room for forceps or material. In addition, in the black area, where the doctors entrance is, there will be a staff lounge, a storage room for supplies, staff changing rooms and boots.
In addition, the Cardiovascular Recovery Service will have an independent entrance and will have a nursing head, a dirty material washing room, a machine room for the angiograph, changing rooms and toilets.
There will also be a medical office, a dormitory for on-call doctors with a toilet, a toilet for the disabled, with a baby washroom, a cardiovascular recovery area with six intensive care beds, two intermediate care beds and one isolation bed, with a central infirmary and an equipment storage room.
Clearly, the asepsis requirements inherent to the environmental conditions necessary for floors, ceilings and walls that are resistant to wear, washable, waterproof, smooth, without moldings that do not accumulate dirt and are easy to clean must be met.
Improvements in sector 2
The work includes the refurbishment of the old buffet, the neurology and neurosurgery sector of Island 5 and the public bathrooms of the healthcare centre.
This sector will be refurbished to house the new Island 6 of consulting rooms, which will have five consulting rooms for public attention, reception, waiting room, bathrooms for staff, management and nursing. The neurosurgery and neurology sector will be refurbished on the island, a new entrance, a consulting room and a meeting room for doctors will be built, and a disabled toilet will be built in the public bathrooms and the existing bathrooms will be completely renovated.
The work to be carried out in both interventions will include the renovation of all installations, electrical, strong and weak currents, lighting, sanitary installation, furniture and air conditioning system.
