Work Detail The Chinese manufacturer announced that the plant, located in Monterrey, will have an initial production capacity of 500,000 units per year. Chinese microinverter manufacturer Hoymiles has announced the opening of its first overseas manufacturing plant in Monterrey, in the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon, with which it aims to supply the North American and Latin American markets. The press release explains that the plant is located in the Vynmsa Industrial Park, 6 kilometers from the Monterrey airport, with a surface area of ??6,700 square meters. It also states that "it is equipped with comprehensive production resources, including warehouses dedicated to PCBA, materials and finished products," and a workforce of 170 employees. The factory is said to focus on producing microinverters, “such as the HMS-2000-4T and HMS-2000DW-4T series, for residential and commercial solar applications,” with an initial production capacity of 500,000 units per year. It is clarified that future expansions are planned, with the aim of doubling its production with the addition of new production lines. According to Hoymiles CEO Dr. Yang Bo, “the Monterrey plant is a significant milestone and demonstrates our commitment to supporting the transition to renewable energy in North and Latin America,” and he considered it “crucial to meet the growing needs of the region in terms of solar and energy storage solutions.”
