Aguas Santafesinas, together with the Municipality of Gálvez, opened the bids for three important public tenders to improve sewage and drinking water services in the city.
The event, which took place at the “House of History and Culture of the Bicentennial”, was headed by the president of the Board of Directors of Aguas Anahí Rodríguez; the municipal mayor Mariano Busso; the provincial senator for the Department of San Jerónimo Leonardo Diana; and the vice president of Aguas Alfredo Menna.
Also present were the director of Aguas, Darío Boscarol; the manager of Infrastructure, Technique and Water Quality Patricia Zago, the secretary of Government and Planning of the Municipality of Gálvez Emanuel Boero; the secretary of Economy Carlos Salguero; the secretary of Production, Commerce and Social Development Virginia Vottero; and the head of the Gálvez Water District, Fabián Caselli, among other authorities.
At the beginning of the event, Mayor Busso highlighted “the joint work that is being carried out with Aguas Santafesinas after a long time. At the beginning of the year, company executives presented us with the draft master plan and this allows us to cross-check data and begin to think and plan the city together.”
During the day, the envelopes were opened with three important tenders from Aguas Santafesinas SA for an amount close to 400 million pesos contributed by the provincial government, "and we appreciate the commitment of Governor Maximiliano Pullaro, Vice Governor Gisela Scaglia and the companys directors," he said.
For his part, the senator understood that "in a national context where the President of the Nation stated on Sunday night that there will be no public works nor is it planned in the budget, the policy of the governor and the vice-governor is to execute public works that benefit all Santa Fe residents, because there are not only tenders in our department, but throughout the province... In San Jerónimo, in addition, we have the bi-provincial aqueduct work (which includes several localities), which drives and generates a lot of employment for the entire region."
From Aguas, its president Anahí Rodríguez, pointed out that “after nine months we are bidding for water and sewage works for this city. It is the fourth, and we will surely have another one before the end of the year, but I want to emphasize the effort of the Provincial Government in these tenders that we are opening today.”
Regarding the investments to be made, Rodríguez said that “the budget is around 400 million pesos, these are works that are done with resources from the provincial treasury, with contributions from this province, because there is a clear decision by the Provincial Government to move forward with this type of works that are important in terms of public health directly linked to water and sanitation.”
Offers received
The first public tender for which the bidders envelopes were opened was for improvements to the sewage treatment plant, with the number 1399, called "Sustainability of the treatment system in an anaerobic lagoon". It involves hydraulic dredging, filtration, dehydration and sludge extraction tasks for cleaning the anaerobic lagoon No. 1, at the entrance to the city, using the technology of filtering textile geoforms, which allow the work to be carried out without interrupting the continuity of the process.
The official budget for this work is $207,510,474.60 (VAT included) with a completion period of 3 months.

The second public tender for which bids were opened was number 1416 “Completion of civil works, complementary installations and chlorination system in PDLC”.
This work has an official budget of $115,760,277.62 (VAT included) and a completion period of 4 months.

– Offer 2: “Bertero Facundo Josue” – Basic offer: $ 112,561,539.89 + VAT / Alternative offer 1: $ 104,904,292.25 + VAT
Finally, the same was done with tender no. 1409, through which two new perforations will be executed to capture water from an underground source.
This tender has a budget of $55,248,252.73 (VAT included) and a deadline of 30 days.

These bids, with their technical and economic alternatives, will be evaluated and analyzed to determine their subsequent award.
