These are the municipalities of Hernando, Cañada de Luque, La Cruz, San José de la Dormida, Arias, Camilo Aldao and Villa de Soto.
As part of the signing of agreements for the financing of works that the Province has been carrying out together with mayors of various localities, the Minister of Government, Manuel Calvo, received seven municipalities from different departments of Córdoba.
The funds come from the Complementary Fund for Infrastructure Works for Municipalities, Communes and Regional Communities (FOCOM), through which the administration seeks to ensure the continuity of the works in all localities.
In this way, public works in Córdoba continue to move forward despite the halt in this area observed in the rest of the country.
On this occasion, the Province signed agreements with the municipal leaders of Hernando, Cañada de Luque, La Cruz, San José de la Dormida, Arias, Camilo Aldao and Villa de Soto.
In this regard, Minister Manuel Calvo said: “This initiative is a sign of the confidence of our governor in the mayors of the entire province, regardless of the size of their localities and much less the political colors they represent.”
"This administration understands that there is no one better than them to carry out the works, because they are the ones who best know the true needs of the residents who, through their vote, put them in charge of their municipalities," the minister concluded.
Ricardo Bianchini, Mayor of Hernando, said: “It is very important for our town to receive this support from the Government. In a very difficult context, we will be able to carry out curb and sewer works for different sectors of our city.”
For her part, the mayor of Villa de Soto, María José Acuña, said: “This is very good news for our municipality. Our funds will go to revalue the procession circuit in honor of San Roque, one of the most important religious events in the province, through paving, curbs and lighting.”
"I welcome every action that the Provincial Government takes when it thinks about the municipalities and local governments, in order to bring us opportunities," concluded the mayor.
