Rufino: the construction of the new Agricultural School has already exceeded 70% of the work completed.
In the face of another provincial project in the southern region, Minister Lisandro Enrico reported that the major installations have been completed.
Maximiliano Pullaros management at the head of Casa Gris continues to produce works that have been expected by the entire community for many years. This is how we could define this important construction, so often frustrated in the city of Rufino: the new building of the Agricultural School 335.
In this regard, the Minister of Public Works, Lisandro Enrico, provided details on the progress: “This is a priority project for the first year of Governor Maximiliano Pullaro’s administration. Despite the complex economic situation we are going through, every effort is being made to ensure that the work continues at its pace since the first day we were able to reactivate it. At this time, 70% of the work has been completed, and now the finishing stage is beginning.”
He also recalled: “At the beginning of the administration, we visited the school with the Minister of Education, José Goity… We had announced that we were going to resume and finish the work. Today, the work on its way to its final stage demonstrates with facts the importance that this school has for the administration, especially knowing the reality that this educational community has to go through, operating in a rented, precarious building, with much deterioration in its facilities and with structures that are below the quality that educational buildings deserve,” said the minister.
“We gave our word to Governor Pullaro, and so it will be. Rufino will have its agricultural school finished after several years of attempts and lack of continuity. These are works that will last forever, and it is totally justified, because this school produces students with an education, which is a plus for our region. The educational community has so often asked for the new building of this school that will operate a few meters from the Rural Society,” concluded Enrico.
Details of the school
For his part, the Secretary of Public Works, Marcelo Pascualón, explained: "The tasks are carried out by the successful company Depaoli & Trosce Constructora SRL, who finished all the rough installations and have already begun the tasks of
“Currently, work is being done on expanding the cafeteria, extending the gas network and the new sports field. And little by little, the school is being supplied with furniture,” he explained.
The new building, which will have 16 new classrooms and 5 workshops, will have spaces that will allow classes to be given to more than 200 students and will include an entrance hall with a porters lodge, a media library, a multipurpose room, an administrative area and a canteen.
