The government of Santa Fe announced the public tender for the construction of 25 classrooms for schools in Venado Tuerto, with an investment of 2.325 million pesos. The bids will be announced next Tuesday, September 24 at 5:30 p.m. at Technical School No. 602 and the execution period for the works is four months. This initiative is part of the Open School 1,000 Classrooms program, launched by the Ministry of Education, which was presented in our city by Minister Gabriel Goity on August 21 together with Mayor Leonel Chiarella. The goal is to have them ready for the start of the 2025 school year. The work includes the provision of material, equipment, accessories, machinery, tools and labour necessary to carry out all the tasks required for the optimal result of the objective. The tender is divided into two components, and companies may bid for one or both. Component 1 consists of 14 classrooms, three for School No. 968 “Eduardo Casey” (Francia 1315) and Technical School No. 602 (San Martín 2260), two for Kindergarten No. 110 “Esmeralda del Sur” (Azcuénaga 2406) and for School No. 1191 “Volunteer Firefighters” (26 de Abril 1645), and one for the Kindergarten “Pinceladas” and “Rocío de Miel” (Agüero 1460), School No. 6391 “Antártida Argentina” (Calle 39 1390), School No. 969 “Joaquín V. González” (Brown 367) and School No. 789 “Almafuerte” (José Cibelli y Liniers). The budget is 1.288 billion pesos. Component 2 consists of 11 classrooms, two for School No. 447 “Manuel V. Manzano” (Formosa 527), School No. 1198 “Gral. José de San Martín” (Salvadores 109), the Regional Early Stimulation Center No. 2133 (Esperanto 301) and School No. 1262 “Malvinas Argentinas” (Amincton 701); and one each for School No. 498 “Bernardino Rivadavia” (Uruguay 441), Huellitas Kindergarten (Falucho and Vuelta de Obligado) and Rayito de Sol Kindergarten (Ayacucho and Presidente Perón). The budget is 1.037 million pesos. One of the issues that stands out is that the work cannot interfere with the teaching of classes, therefore it must take care of the personnel circuits, supplies and disturbing noises, to this end the work area must be isolated and safe from the entry of people not involved in the work. The classrooms will be built in a traditional way, with sheet metal or slab roofs according to the pre-existing construction line in the establishment.
