In the near future, it is planned to introduce into industrial development the first two fields of the project - Payakhskoye and Ichemminskoye.
The start of work on Rosnefts Vostok Oil project has confirmed that the oil reserves there are indeed large - more than 6 billion tons. Their industrial production will begin soon.
This was reported in an interview with Interfax during the EEF by Russian Minister of Natural Resources A. Kozlov.

the development potential of the north of Krasnoyarsk Krai directly depends on such a large-scale project as Vostok Oil;
Today, the estimated total reserves of the project exceed 6 billion tons of light, low-sulfur oil;
based on the results of geological exploration work ( GEW ) on the project, there is no deviation from the previously declared indicators;
In the near future, it is planned to introduce into industrial development the first two fields of the project - Payakhskoye and Ichemminskoye;
in 2023, as part of regional work, drilling of the Novoyakimovskaya parametric well, located 400 km east of the Payakhskoye field, was completed using federal budget funds;
productive strata of the Achimov pack, similar to the deposits of the Payakhskoye field, were exposed;
this allows to significantly increase the prospects of this region;
At present, tests of promising objects are being carried out in the production column.
Vostok Oil Project
the largest investment project in the global oil and gas industry;
implemented by Rosneft in the north of Krasnoyarsk Krai;
the resource base exceeds 6.5 billion tons of premium low-sulfur oil ;
the oil loading terminal in the new seaport of Sever Bay will ensure the transshipment of oil from the Vostok Oil fields for further shipment by tanker fleet along the Northern Sea Route ( NSR );
Vostok Oil includes 52 licensed subsoil areas in the north of Krasnoyarsk Krai and in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YaNAO), which contain 13 oil and gas fields , including the fields of the Vankor and Payakh clusters;
In 2027, it is planned to ship up to 50 million tons of oil per year via the NSR .
Work on the project continues:
in the 1st quarter of 2024, 0.7 thousand linear km of 2D seismic exploration work and 0.4 thousand km2 of 3D work were completed;
3 wells have been completed with drilling, 2 wells are being tested and 3 more wells are being prepared for testing; experimental work continues
industrial development of the Payakhskoye, Ichemminskoye and Baikalovskoye fields - the drilling meterage in production drilling in the 1st quarter of 2024 amounted to approximately 16 thousand meters, drilling of 3 production wells was completed;
work is underway on the main oil pipeline ( MOP ) Vankor - Payakha - Sever Bay - as of the end of the 1st quarter of 2024, more than 61 thousand piles have been installed, more than 250 km of pipe have been welded, construction of an underwater crossing of the oil pipeline is underway - a section in the channel part of the Yenisei River has been installed and tested;
construction of logistics infrastructure is underway, work is being carried out on the construction of hydraulic structures, coastal protection, expansion of coastal and berthing infrastructure;
In the first quarter of 2024, Rosneft began construction of an oil loading terminal at the Port Bukhta Sever terminal. In total, about 400 large-sized piles with a diameter of over 2.5 m and a total weight of over 100 thousand tons will be manufactured as part of the construction.
On April 4, 2024, RN -Vankor (an enterprise of the Rosneft oil production complex) began construction of the Suzun and Payakha oil pumping stations ( OPS ) as part of the Vostok Oil project . |
