The Provincial Agency for Social and Urban Integration (Opisu) officially awarded a tender for the provision of environmental sanitation services in two neighborhoods of Mar del Plata on Monday, in one of the largest public investments of the year in the city.
Through Resolution 360/24, the agency chaired by Romina Barrios awarded Ciageser SA the section of Tender 598/24 that concerns General Pueyrredon, with an investment of $849 million that includes 1,976 hours of work using a vacuum truck and 3,952 hours of atmospheric hydrosuction. The tender also includes the same tasks for the Villa Porá neighborhood in the Lanús district, for which another $582 million will be allocated.
The opening of the envelopes had taken place on June 25, where in addition to the offers from Ciageser for General Pueyrredon, Servicios Ibarra SRL and Ashira SA were also presented. The latter will finally be in charge of the tasks in Lanús. The award had the initial analysis of the Offer Evaluation Commission, while later the General Advisory Office of the Government, the General Accounting Office of the Province and the State Attorneys Office issued their opinions.
According to Opisu, the service to be provided in popular neighborhoods includes cleaning and unclogging drains, chambers, connections, sewer and stormwater system conduits, draining of absorbent wells, by means of atmospheric and vactor unclogging trucks, in slums, poor neighborhoods, precarious settlements and temporary housing units located within the territory of the Province of Buenos Aires, with subsequent transportation and dumping of sanitary liquids in the enabled devices.
Opisu is an organization dependent on the Ministry of Habitat and Urban Development and its objective is to promote the urban, social and productive integration of the slums, settlements and housing complexes of the Province of Buenos Aires with the aim of guaranteeing access to a decent and fair habitat. |
