The declaration proposes to deploy a range of training courses that will connect the Chilean academic and business worlds of the energy vector, in which French companies also participate.
Energy Minister Diego Pardow and French Ambassador to Chile Cyrille Rogeau have signed a joint declaration seeking to increase cooperation between the two countries in the field of technical and vocational training to support the development of the green and low-carbon hydrogen industry.
In a statement, it is explained that this declaration is made within the framework of the working group on green and low-carbon hydrogen formed by Chile and France in 2023. In this sense, it is assured that "the implementation of a training offer will not only contribute to the successful development of an innovative sector, but will also create value and employment."
Chilean Energy Minister Diego Pardow said that countries have “a common agenda in the face of the challenges posed by the energy transition process and adaptation to climate change.”
“The development of new technologies to boost the green hydrogen industry and its derivatives opens up a range of opportunities for young people in our country that we cannot afford to miss,” Pardow added.
Meanwhile, the French ambassador to Chile, Cyrille Rogeau, said that “one of the key conditions for the sustainable development of the industry will be the ability to quickly train a large number of qualified people in Chile, and France is committed to helping Chile in this process.”
With this declaration, Chile and France are committed to deploying a range of training courses - essential for the development of human capital in a strategic sector for the energy transition - that will connect the Chilean academic and business worlds, in which French companies also participate. |
