Appointments ‘strengthen corporate structure amid strong growth’ Grenergy has announced the appointment of Francisco García as director of global development and Rubén Gómez as director of investor relations. The Spanish green energy producer said the moves will strengthen its corporate structure at a time of strong growth. García will report to Grenergy chief executive Pablo Otín, while Gómez will report to director of strategy and capital markets Daniel Lozano. A forestry engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, García has developed more than 17 years of work experience in the renewable energy sector. He has experience in more than 10 markets for which he has developed more than 2GW of photovoltaic and battery projects. After spending five years abroad, he has held relevant positions in multinationals such as Iberdrola, Opdenergy and Gransolar Group. Gómez joins Grenergy after having worked for almost 17 years at Indra and with extensive experience in the investor relations area. A telecommunications engineer with a degree in business administration and management from the European University of Madrid, he has wide experience in direct relations with investors and analysts. “These two new signings once again demonstrate the company’s ability to attract the best talent and will help us consolidate ourselves as a relevant company in the renewable energy sector,” says Grenergy executive chairman of David Ruiz de Andrés. |
