Sathlokhar Synergys E&C Global Limited (SSEGL) announced today that it has secured a major ?62.53 crore contract from Vinfast Auto India Private Limited. The contract entails the execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) work for Vinfast’s new electric vehicle factory in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.
The project scope includes installations for electrical systems, mechanical HVAC systems, plumbing, and firefighting infrastructure. SSEGL is scheduled to complete the work by December 2024.
Vinfast, a Vietnam-based electric vehicle manufacturer, is making its entry into the Indian market with this facility. The contract, awarded by Vinfast’s domestic arm, represents a key step in the companys strategic expansion within India.
SSEGL confirmed that this contract is not a related party transaction and that its promoters have no financial interest in Vinfast Auto India Private Limited.
This development underscores the increasing investments in India’s electric vehicle manufacturing sector and showcases SSEGL’s expertise in handling large-scale industrial infrastructure projects. |
