More than $4.2 billion will be invested in a new project that will be carried out by the Maximiliano Pullaro administration in Rosario.
Within the framework of the Rosario Agreement, the Minister of Public Works, Lisandro Enrico, together with the Municipal Mayor, Pablo Javkin, headed the opening of envelopes for the execution of improvement and paving works on 22 blocks of the Antártida Argentina neighborhood in Rosario. The project sector is delimited by the streets Bv. Wilde to the west, Donado to the east, Tucumán to the south, and Navarro to the north.
The initiative proposes the demolition of the current asphalt layers and the construction of a flexible pavement at a final level with curbs and gutters. The completion of the project will allow the environmental sanitation of the described area, through the elimination of ditches, improving the quality of life of the frontagents. Likewise, the level of service and the capacity of the existing roads will be improved, as well as vehicular and pedestrian safety.
A Province present
In this regard, Minister Lisandro Enrico indicated that “these works are part of the management of Governor Maximiliano Pullaro. With a firm commitment we are providing answers to problems that the neighborhood has had for many decades. Together with the Municipality we are going to carry out these definitive paving and sanitation works with the construction of curbs and gutters to eradicate open-air ditches.”
“In addition to paving the streets of the neighborhood, the missing hydraulic works will be carried out to complete the existing stormwater infrastructure in order to ensure proper evacuation of rainwater. Ramps will also be built for accessibility for people with reduced mobility,” explained Enrico.
The Minister of Public Works announced that next Friday, the 30th, a new provincial tender will be held in the Las Heras neighborhood, for the work on Ayacucho Avenue, which is also part of the list agreed upon between the government headed by Maximiliano Pullaro and the Municipality.
For his part, Mayor Javkin, valued the efforts of the residents who have been the driving force and origin of this work. He reviewed all the progress that the Municipality has made in terms of neighborhood works, and also thanked the support of the governor and Minister Enrico, because in only 8 months of management, a provincial works plan can be observed in progress that comes to provide answers to the residents. He even pointed out that a large part of the works framed in the “Rosario Agreement” have already been started thanks to the quick work of the technical teams.
In turn, Javkin indicated that this work will now begin its process of awarding to one of the companies that applied. And then, from the time the machines arrive, the work period is an estimated one year. For this reason, he asked to maintain dialogue with the neighbors and the best possible coexistence while the interventions in the streets are carried out.
The authorities were accompanied at the front by the president of the Municipal Council, María Eugenia Schmuck; Senator Ciro Seisas; the Secretary of Habitat and Housing (provincial), Lucas Crivelli; the Undersecretary of Habitat Planning (provincial) Pablo Ávalos; among other authorities.

With an official budget of $ 4,215,234,137.44 (based on values ??for the month of March 2024) and a term of execution of 360 calendar days, 7 bidders were presented:
